We can arrange with you to collect your pet from their yard or deliver them home without you being there, so they are there to greet you when you arrive home. (We will always ensure that your pet has water and a treat when we drop them off.)

For the Felines they will travel in their own cages or we can supply one for them.

 

 

Vaccination Requirements
Most Boarding Facilities will require proof of Vaccination (usually C5 for dogs & C3 for cats, but check with your Kennel/Cattery for their specific requirements like the new intranasal Canine Cough Vaccine).

If you have not already forwarded vaccination proof, please have a copy for Porters 4 Pets to take on your pets behalf to avoid them being refused.

 

Protection against Ticks
Most Boarding Facilities require your pet/s (generally dogs) to be treated for ticks all year around. Advantix or Frontline, it should be applied just prior to boarding. (Alternatively your pets boarding kennel can apply it at a cost.)

 

Bedding
If your pets boarding facility allows your pet to have their personal bedding, we are happy to take it with them. (Pets love to have something with them that smells like home, like one of your old jumpers so don’t wash it for them!)

 

Collars
Check with your boarding facility whether your pet can wear his/her collar.

 

Leads & Harnesses
NO need for you to send leads and harnesses with your dogs, they can get lost and we have plenty to use to ensure their safety.

 

Special Diets and Medications
If your pet has a special diet and medications, ensure you have written instructions to go with it, so there is no confusion at the boarding facility.
